Talvo Press began as a documented record of body care formulations and daily vitamin complexes observed through independent supplier contact in London. The catalogue grew from a straightforward question: which products carry their full ingredient story with them?
Four principles. One consistent approach.
The catalogue was built around four principles that have remained unchanged since the first edition was compiled. They are not aspirational — they describe how every entry in the catalogue is reviewed and listed.
Talvo Press selects products under the following principles: each item in the catalogue is reviewed for ingredient transparency before listing, supplier documentation is requested where available, corrections are noted in the catalogue record, and the selection team discloses any commercial relationships that could influence inclusion.
Ingredient Transparency
Every catalogue entry is reviewed for a complete and accessible ingredient list before appearing in the record. Partial lists are flagged.
Supplier Documentation
Supplier sourcing documents are requested for each entry. Where documentation is available it is archived against the catalogue record.
Correction Policy
Corrections are noted in the catalogue record when information changes or errors are identified. Entries are not silently updated.
Relationship Disclosure
Any commercial relationship that could influence catalogue inclusion is disclosed. The selection team operates independently of the suppliers listed.
A record, not a review.
The original Talvo Press catalogue was compiled from field notes taken during supplier visits and independent product assessments in and around London's wholesale and specialist distribution network. The focus was narrow: daily body care products and everyday vitamin supplements that could be verified against a documented ingredient record.
The distinction between a record and a review matters to the catalogue. A review carries opinion; a record carries documentation. Talvo Press does not score or rank products. It lists them alongside their ingredient specification, sourcing notes, and category classification. The reader draws their own conclusions from the data.
The body care line and the vitamin and supplement line developed in parallel. Both operate under the same review framework: ingredient transparency, supplier documentation on file, no entry without a completed assessment. The result is a catalogue that moves slowly — new entries are added only when the review process is complete — but consistently.
Talvo Press is based at its London studio in EC1N. The selection team is small, the review process deliberate. The catalogue updates seasonally, with the current edition reviewed and released each quarter. Supplier relationships are maintained at arm's length, and the catalogue does not carry advertising.

46 46 Duncan Terrace, London N1 8BN, United Kingdom, London EC1N 8QJ. The studio occupies a ground-floor workspace in the Clerkenwell area, used for catalogue assembly and supplier meetings.
Working Hours
The studio is staffed Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00. Catalogue correspondence is responded to within two working days. Supplier documentation submissions are reviewed within one working week.
Update Cycle
The catalogue is reviewed and updated each quarter. New entries go through the full review process before listing. Seasonal editions are noted in the catalogue record with the review date.
